How It All Started

Having lived in NYC, Boston, Miami, and her home city of Raleigh, NC, WSC Founder Hannah Weisberg learned first-hand just how hard making friends as an adult can be, especially when working from home. After her workshop and event space, Dove & Olive Mercantile, closed during the pandemic, Hannah knew the need for real connection was more important, and harder to meet, than ever. In September 2020, she took the leap and launched The Women's Social Club® (WSC), a membership-based community that makes it easier for women to find real friendship.

What began as twice-a-month meetups in parks around Raleigh has launched 50+ communities around the world, more than 10,000 women gathered, and thousands of in-person gatherings, alongside an online community app. And the system underneath it all, the one that made that growth possible, became Community OS: the infrastructure Hannah now uses to help other brands, creators, and businesses build real-life communities of their own.

The Women's Social Club® became more than an idea as Hannah built her own community as a small business owner. As a solopreneur, collaborating with so many talented women opened doors and created opportunities, personally and professionally, that simply wouldn't have existed otherwise.

WSC's superpower is helping women become the best version of themselves while building the life they actually want, one filled with friendship, opportunity, and confidence.

Women are at their strongest when they're in community with other women, and WSC's goal is to grow that "collaboration over competition" mindset with as many women as we can reach. We believe we can make a real impact as we grow together.

Our community supports the community around us, too, partnering with local, women-owned businesses and artisans for our events and workshops. It's the same belief that now shapes Community OS: that the most powerful thing a brand can give its people is each other.

I BELIEVE IN:

Straight talk, strong drinks, short emails, and cutting out the 'meh' to make room for the very best.

I'm NOT ABOUT:

Faking it, over-analyzing, coffee (I'm all about that MATCHA life), and gatekeeping the secrets to success.

YOU CAN FIND ME:

Hosting my WSC ladies, helping brands I love build community of their own, on planning calls with my clients, reading, or sketching (I'm an art school graduate).

My Favorite Things

Traveling, especially somewhere I've never been. Bringing WSC all the way to Paris still feels surreal, so wherever's next, count me in.

my happy place!

Yoga. It's the only time I can actually turn my brain off, get into my body, and I always leave with inspiration when I'm feeling stuck.

All things art: I've been diving head first back into my artist roots lately, visiting museums, working through every art history book I can get my hands on, and sketching whenever I get the chance.
